Xtreme Pressure Plate & 4-Pad Race Disc

The Xtreme pressure plate provides substantially greater clamp load than ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate, allowing this clutch to achieve the highest torque capacity of the ACT AE86 single-disc options offered by Preserve Rad.

Its 4-pad ceramic disc concentrates the friction surface into four high-temperature-resistant pads. This provides quicker engagement and strong heat tolerance during repeated hard launches, aggressive shifts, clutch kicks, and demanding motorsport use.

The spring-centered hub adds torsional cushioning between the engine and transmission, making it somewhat more forgiving to the drivetrain than a rigid 4-pad race disc. Engagement remains intentionally aggressive, however, and this clutch should not be expected to behave like a full-face organic street clutch.
