Overview

The CUSCO N1 Link Rear Lower Control Arm Set replaces the factory rear lower links in the AE86 solid-rear-axle four-link suspension with a fixed-length steel design using hard-rubber bushings at both ends of each arm. The design retains bushing compliance while providing a durable vehicle-specific replacement for worn or aging factory lower links.

This set installs at the factory rear lower-control-arm mounting locations and is suited to AE86 owners who want a straightforward fixed-length CUSCO link rather than an adjustable pillowball-style arm.

Series Overview

Formula Link is the fully adjustable option. Pillowball rod ends at both ends eliminate rubber-bushing compliance and provide the widest adjustment range of the three series.

Formula Link Jr. combines one pillowball rod end with one hard-rubber bushing in each arm, providing adjustable link length while retaining some isolation at one mounting point.

N1 Link uses hard-rubber bushings at both ends and a fixed link length. It retains more isolation than either adjustable series and does not require suspension-link length adjustment.
