Overview

The CUSCO Formula Link Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms replace the factory fixed-length lower links in the AE86 rear four-link suspension with a fully pillowball-jointed adjustable pair. Both ends of each link use metal rod-end pillowball joints for a direct chassis-to-axle connection, while the adjustable body allows rear lower-link length to be set for the vehicle's ride height and suspension geometry.

Each arm provides a +20 mm to -10 mm adjustment range and installs at the rear lower-control-arm mounting locations used by the listed JDM AE86, U.S.-market GT-S, and U.S.-market SR5 applications.

Pillowball Joint Design & Adjustment

The Formula Link design replaces rubber-bushed lower links with pillowball rod ends at both mounting points. This reduces compliance in the rear four-link system and provides a wider adjustment range for setting lower-link length on modified or performance-oriented AE86 suspension setups.

Series Overview

Formula Link is the fully adjustable option. Pillowball rod ends at both ends eliminate rubber-bushing compliance and provide the widest adjustment range of the three series.

Formula Link Jr. combines one pillowball rod end with one hard-rubber bushing in each arm, providing adjustable link length while retaining some isolation at one mounting point.

N1 Link uses hard-rubber bushings at both ends and a fixed link length. It retains more isolation than either adjustable series and does not require suspension-link length adjustment.
