Overview

The TOMEI EXPREME Ti Full Titanium Exhaust System is a lightweight cat-back exhaust for Toyota AE86 applications, including 4A-GE models and 4A-C SR5 models using a GT-S-style catalytic converter or GT-S-length test pipe. Both available configurations use full titanium construction, 60.5 mm main piping, 1.0 mm wall thickness, and an 89.1 mm single exhaust exit.

Choose between the Type-R under-axle layout for minimum system weight and direct routing, or the Type-S factory-style layout for more conventional rear-axle routing. Both configurations include a removable sound reducer and installation hardware.

Type-R vs. Type-S

Type-R – Under-Axle: Uses a compact 102 mm center silencer and weighs approximately 3.7 kg / 8.16 lb. This is the lighter, more direct configuration.

Type-S – Factory-Style Route: Uses a larger 152 mm rear silencer and weighs approximately 4.25 kg / 9.37 lb. This configuration follows a more conventional AE86 exhaust route.

Fitment Notes

• SR5 4A-C fitment requires a GT-S-style catalytic converter or GT-S-length test pipe.
• The factory SR5 catalytic converter and SR5-length test-pipe section are shorter than the GT-S-style section, so the stock-length SR5 upstream section does not reach the exhaust inlet correctly.
• The required GT-S-style catalytic converter or test pipe is not included with the exhaust.
• The SR5 upstream requirement applies to both Type-R – Under-Axle and Type-S – Factory-Style Route configurations.
  
• Type-R routes beneath the rear axle area; lowered vehicles have reduced exhaust-to-ground and axle clearance.
