The Project Mu Club Racer RC09 Rear Brake Pads are circuit-focused racing pads for rear disc brake-equipped Toyota AE86 applications. The RC09 compound is designed for sustained high-temperature braking where consistent friction, heat resistance, and repeatable performance are priorities.
The super graphite metallic friction material operates across a 300–800°C rotor temperature range with a 0.42–0.55 μ friction coefficient. This makes the RC09 particularly well suited to track days, time attack, circuit racing, and other AE86 builds that regularly generate elevated brake temperatures.
Because the compound's intended operating range begins at 300°C, these pads are aimed at motorsport use rather than ordinary replacement street duty.

Circuit-Focused RC09 Compound
The Club Racer RC09 compound is engineered around the elevated temperatures produced during repeated hard braking on a race circuit. Its high-temperature operating range allows the pad to maintain consistent braking characteristics during extended track sessions where conventional street-oriented friction materials can move outside their intended temperature window.
The rear RC09 pads can be paired with the corresponding front Club Racer compound to build a matched circuit-focused braking setup while retaining the factory-style AE86 disc brake configuration.
