Overview

The OS Giken TS Series Soft-Diaphragm Twin Plate Clutch Kit is a performance clutch and flywheel package designed for 4A-G-powered Toyota AE86 applications. Its twin-plate construction provides increased torque capacity while the softer diaphragm spring helps maintain more manageable pedal effort than the standard TS2A and TS2B configurations.

Two configurations are available. The TS2AS is the smaller, response-focused setup intended primarily for naturally aspirated and lower-torque builds, while the TS2BS uses larger clutch discs and substantially greater torque capacity for supercharged, turbocharged, and higher-output 4A-G applications.

Both configurations use a stamped-steel clutch cover, heat-treated alloy clutch discs, and a matched flywheel.

The TS2AS 184 mm configuration is the better choice for a naturally aspirated or moderately modified 4A-G where engine response and a lighter-duty twin-plate setup are the priority.

The TS2BS 204 mm configuration is better suited to turbocharged, supercharged, or higher-output 4A-G builds that need significantly greater torque capacity while retaining OS Giken's softer diaphragm design.

Neither configuration is universally better—the correct choice depends primarily on the engine's torque output and intended use.
