Overview
The OS Giken TS2B Twin Plate Clutch Kit is a high-capacity performance clutch system for 4A-G-powered Toyota AE86 manual-transmission applications. Its twin-disc design uses two 204 mm heat-treated alloy clutch discs to provide substantially greater holding capacity than a conventional single-disc clutch while maintaining manageable engagement for performance street and track builds.
The TS2B is rated for approximately 500 lb-ft of torque and uses a pressed-steel clutch cover designed to balance clamping capacity with moderate pedal effort. A matched flywheel is included, making the clutch and flywheel a coordinated assembly for naturally aspirated and higher-output forced-induction 4A-G builds.
Installation requires an OEM-style AE86 release bearing with a 3 mm spacer/shim. The TS2B does not use the dedicated OS Giken release-sleeve configuration associated with the TS2A clutch setup.

TS2B Twin-Plate Design
Using two clutch discs increases total friction surface area without requiring an oversized single disc. This allows the TS2B to support substantially higher torque output while retaining a compact clutch assembly.
The design is well suited to performance-focused AE86 builds that require increased clutch capacity and responsive engine operation without moving to a more aggressive racing-only clutch configuration.
