Overview

The CUSCO D1 7-Point Chromoly Roll Cage is a vehicle-specific chassis reinforcement system for left-hand-drive Toyota Corolla AE86 models. Designed for performance-oriented street, drift, track, and competition builds, the cage uses a 7-point, 2-passenger layout with straight rear side bars and an around-dashboard front configuration.

Constructed from lightweight chromoly tubing and finished in CUSCO Blue Metallic, the D1 series provides increased structural reinforcement while reducing weight compared with conventional steel roll-cage construction. The cage uses 40 mm outside-diameter tubing with a 1.6 mm wall thickness.

Two roof-specific configurations are available. Choose the Sunroof or Non-Sunroof version according to the vehicle's factory roof configuration.

Material & Construction

The CUSCO D1 series is constructed from chromoly tubing measuring 40 mm in outside diameter with a 1.6 mm wall thickness. The chromoly design provides a lighter alternative to CUSCO's conventional steel Safety21 roll-cage construction while maintaining a rigid multi-point chassis structure.

The 7-point configuration uses a 2-passenger layout with straight rear side bars. Forward cage bars follow an around-dashboard design, allowing the cage structure to extend toward the front of the passenger compartment without using a through-dashboard configuration.

CUSCO D1 cages are finished in the brand's distinctive Blue Metallic finish.
