Overview

This Bando Rib Ace belt drives the cooling fan and alternator through the four-rib accessory circuit on the 3VZ-E. It replaces the worn belt while retaining the engine’s accessory pulley and adjustment arrangement.

The power-steering and A/C belts are separate service parts. The engine’s water pump is driven by the timing belt.

Fitment Notes

• 3VZ-E application; not for 22R, 22RE or 22R-TE accessory drives.
• Changed pulleys, accessory brackets or engine swaps require matching the installed drive arrangement rather than chassis year alone.

A worn fan-support bearing requires separate repair. The AISIN cooling-fan pulley brackets for 1988–1995 4Runner and 1988–1995 Pickup replace that bearing-support assembly; choose the bracket configuration for the installed timing-belt tensioner. A new belt does not repair a worn support bearing.
