YEC Distributor Rotor

For 1986–1995 Toyota 4Runner and Toyota Pickup with 22RE / 22R-TE, subject to distributor confirmation for 1986 models

Overview

This YEC distributor rotor transfers ignition voltage from the cap's center contact to the cylinder terminals as the distributor turns. It is a Japan-made replacement for the original distributor configuration on the 22RE and 22R-TE engines.

Includes one distributor rotor. Distributor assembly not included.

Fitment Notes

• 1986 models require distributor-specific fitment confirmation before purchase. The rotor configuration changed during 1986; model year alone does not identify the correct rotor.
• Does not fit carbureted 22R engines.
• Engine swaps and aftermarket replacement distributors must be matched to the installed distributor rather than the chassis year alone.
• For separate spark-plug service on these engines, the NGK Iridium IX spark plug set offers the four-plug 22R-family configuration. Spark plugs are separate from the rotor.
