Overview
The Total Chaos 12-Inch Chromoly Rear Leaf Spring Shackles are heavy-duty rear suspension components designed for Toyota 4WD leaf spring systems using 2.5-inch-wide rear springs.
Constructed from 4130 chromoly tubing, these extended shackles provide a reinforced connection between the rear leaf spring and chassis for off-road and custom suspension applications. Their 12-inch length can support increased rear suspension articulation when incorporated into a properly configured leaf spring suspension system.
The kit includes urethane bushings, inner and outer sleeves, and Grade 8 mounting hardware for a complete pair. Custom fabrication and proper suspension setup are required.

Heavy-Duty Leaf Spring Shackle Design
The shackles are fabricated from 4130 chromoly tubing for strength in demanding off-road and performance suspension applications.
Their extended 12-inch configuration is intended for custom leaf spring systems where additional shackle length is required as part of the rear suspension geometry. Four urethane bushings provide controlled movement at the mounting points, while the included inner and outer sleeves complete the pivot assemblies.
Because extended shackles alter leaf spring geometry, proper shackle angle and suspension setup must be established during installation.
