Sumo Gear Knuckle Rebuild Kit | Solid Axle

For 1984–1995 Toyota 4Runner and 1979–1995 Toyota Pickup 4WD with a factory Toyota solid front axle or Toyota-style solid axle conversion.

Overview

The Sumo Gear Knuckle Rebuild Kit is a complete front-knuckle service package for Toyota solid-front-axle applications. The base kit services both front knuckles with Japanese Koyo knuckle bearings, NOK hub and axle seals, shims, gaskets, split rings, and half-moon retainers.

Two expanded configurations add Koyo front wheel bearings for both hubs, with the most complete package also adding replacement spindle bushings for both sides. Later 4Runner and Pickup models can use the same service package when converted to a compatible Toyota-style solid front axle.

Fitment Notes

  • 1986–1995 vehicles require a compatible Toyota-style solid axle conversion.
  • Does not fit factory IFS vehicles.
  • Converted vehicles must use Toyota-style knuckle, hub, and front-disc-brake components compatible with the service parts in this kit.
  • The wheel-bearing configurations service both front hubs.
