Overview

The Prothane Front Sway Bar Bushing & End Link Kit replaces worn factory rubber sway bar mounts and end-link bushings on classic Toyota 4WD applications. Available for 19mm and 23mm front sway bars, the kit uses polyurethane bushings to provide a firmer, more consistent connection between the sway bar, chassis, and suspension.

Aging rubber bushings can crack, deform, or compress, allowing unwanted sway bar movement and reducing the bar's effectiveness. Polyurethane resists deterioration from road grime, weather, and oil while maintaining its shape over a longer service life.

Because both 19mm and 23mm kits are offered within the same vehicle applications, the front sway bar should be physically measured before ordering.

Choosing the Correct Sway Bar Size

This kit is available in two different front sway bar diameters:

19mm Front Sway Bar

Select this configuration only if the sway bar measures approximately 19mm (3/4") in diameter.

23mm Front Sway Bar

Select this configuration only if the sway bar measures approximately 23mm (0.90") in diameter.

Measure the sway bar before ordering. Vehicle year alone should not be used to determine the correct kit because both diameters are cataloged across the supported Toyota applications.

Digital calipers provide the most accurate measurement. If calipers are unavailable, a 19mm or 3/4-inch open-end wrench can provide a quick check: a snug fit indicates the smaller bar, while a bar substantially too large for the wrench should be measured to confirm the 23mm configuration.
