Overview
The Prothane Complete Polyurethane Suspension Bushing Kit provides a comprehensive chassis and suspension bushing refresh for 1979–1994 Toyota Pickup 4WD models. Each model-year-specific kit replaces many of the commonly worn factory rubber bushings with firmer polyurethane components designed to reduce unwanted suspension movement and provide longer service life.
Toyota changed the front suspension design during this production span, so this listing uses three separate model-year configurations. The 1979–1985 kit supports the solid-front-axle leaf-spring suspension, while the 1986–1988 and 1989–1994 kits are designed around the later independent front suspension.
Each configuration is available in black or red polyurethane. Both colors provide the same functional performance.

Suspension Configuration Differences
1979–1985 Toyota Pickup 4WD
These trucks use a solid front axle with front leaf springs. This configuration includes front and rear leaf-spring bushings, body mounts, front sway bar components, front axle torque-arm bushings, and tie-rod dust boots.
1986–1988 Toyota Pickup 4WD
These trucks use independent front suspension (IFS). This configuration replaces the solid-axle front spring components with front control arm bushings while retaining rear leaf-spring, body mount, sway bar, and steering-related components.
1989–1994 Toyota Pickup 4WD
This later IFS configuration uses application-specific front control arm, rear leaf-spring, body mount, sway bar, and tie-rod components designed for the 3rd Gen Pickup chassis.
Because the kits contain different components, selecting the correct model-year configuration is required for proper fitment.
