Overview
The NGK Blue Silicone Spark Plug Wire Set is a vehicle-specific ignition service set for Toyota AE86 models equipped with the naturally aspirated 1.6L 4A-GE DOHC 16-valve engine.
The wires use NGK's variable-pitch magnetic resistor-core construction to provide reliable spark-energy transmission while suppressing radio-frequency and electrical interference from the ignition system. A durable blue silicone outer insulation protects the conductors from engine-bay heat and normal environmental exposure.
The complete set includes the four spark-plug leads and ignition-coil lead needed for the applicable factory distributor-type ignition system.

Variable-Pitch Ignition Wire Design
The ignition leads use a resistance wire wound around a ferrite-based magnetic core in a variable-pitch pattern. This construction provides approximately 8 kΩ of resistance per meter, helping transmit ignition voltage efficiently while controlling electrical interference generated during spark discharge.
The silicone insulation and application-specific terminal boots provide protection against heat and help maintain secure connections at the spark plugs, distributor and ignition coil.
