Overview
The K&N Washable High-Flow Engine Air Filter is a reusable drop-in replacement for the factory air filter used in 1988–1995 Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models equipped with the 3.0L 3VZ-E V6.
The tapered conical filter uses multiple layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media to provide high airflow while capturing airborne contaminants before they enter the engine. It installs directly into the original Toyota air cleaner housing without cutting, tuning, or permanent intake modifications.
Unlike a disposable paper filter, the K&N filter can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused throughout its service life.

Cleaning & Maintenance
The filter can be cleaned and re-oiled rather than discarded during routine maintenance. Under normal highway driving conditions, service intervals can extend up to approximately 75,000 miles, while vehicles regularly operated in dusty, sandy, muddy, or off-road environments should be inspected more frequently.
After cleaning, allow the filter to air dry completely and apply the appropriate amount of K&N filter oil before reinstalling it. Do not use compressed air, gasoline, solvents, engine oil, or external heat when cleaning or drying the filter.
