Overview

The K&N Washable High-Flow Air Filter is a reusable drop-in replacement for the factory rectangular panel filter used in fuel-injected 2.4L Toyota 4Runner and Pickup applications. Its layered, oiled cotton-gauze media is designed to increase airflow while trapping airborne contaminants before they reach the engine.

The filter installs directly in the original air cleaner housing without replacing the factory intake system. It is pre-oiled and ready to install, then can be cleaned, re-oiled, and reused throughout its service life.

Fitment Notes

• No ECU tuning is required for installation.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Inspect the filter more frequently when the vehicle is operated in dusty, sandy, muddy, or off-road conditions.
• Clean with an appropriate K&N filter-cleaning system and allow the filter to air dry completely.
• Re-oil the cotton gauze evenly before reinstalling the filter.
• Recommended re-oiling amount: approximately 1.26 oz / 37 ml.
• Do not use compressed air, solvents, gasoline, engine oil, or external heat to clean or dry the filter.
