Overview
The Fidanza Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel is a performance-oriented replacement for the factory steel flywheel used with the 200 mm 4A-GE clutch system. At approximately 8.15 lb, its reduced rotating mass allows the engine to gain and shed RPM more quickly, improving throttle response and making rev changes feel more immediate.
The CNC-machined aluminum construction uses a replaceable heat-treated steel friction surface and hardened steel ring gear. Unlike a conventional one-piece flywheel that may require machining or replacement as the friction surface wears, the Fidanza design allows the friction plate to be replaced separately.
This flywheel is designed specifically around the 4A-GE / 4A-GEU 200 mm clutch configuration and is a strong match for street-performance, autocross, drift, and track-oriented AE86 builds.

200 mm Clutch Compatibility
This flywheel uses the 200 mm clutch configuration found on the applicable AE86 4A-GE drivetrain.
It can be paired with performance clutch systems that retain the correct 200 mm pressure-plate and disc configuration, including the EXEDY Stage 1 Organic and EXEDY Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch options for the 1985–1987 Corolla Sport GT-S 4A-GE.
A 200 mm flywheel must be used with a matching 200 mm clutch and pressure plate. Do not mix this flywheel with a 212 mm clutch assembly.
