Overview

These DFC Premium rear brake calipers are new replacements for factory rear-disc-equipped 1983–1987 AE86 Trueno and Levin models and 1985–1987 U.S.-market Corolla Sport GT-S models. They are manufactured new rather than rebuilt from used calipers, with a silver zinc coating that helps protect the caliper body against rust.

Each caliper is tested under both high- and low-pressure conditions during production. Choose Left or Right for an individual replacement, or Pair for one of each.

Fitment Notes

  • Factory rear-disc applications only. Fitment excludes SR5, AE85, rear-drum GT models, and front-wheel-drive Corolla FX applications.
  • Left and right are identified from the seated driving position, regardless of steering-wheel location.
  • These are replacement calipers, not a rear-disc conversion kit. If your car has a modified axle or a brake system that differs from the factory setup, check that these calipers match those parts before ordering.
  • Brake pads, rotors, hoses, and parking-brake cables are not included.

For a street-driven factory rear-disc AE86, Project Mu TYPE NS rear brake pads are an option for road use.
