Overview

The DFC OE Replacement Front Brake Hardware Kit provides application-specific replacement hardware for the front disc brake system on the supported 1990–1995 2nd Gen Toyota 4Runner 2WD applications. Replacing worn or corroded brake hardware during pad or rotor service helps maintain proper pad positioning and movement while reducing noise, vibration, drag, and premature wear.

Toyota changed the front brake hardware during the 1991 model year. Select the Year Range option that matches the vehicle production date.

Front Rotor Options

If the front rotors are also being replaced during the same brake service, two compatible rotor options are available for these 1990–1995 Toyota 4Runner 2WD applications. The DFC OE Front Brake Rotor is an OE-style replacement option, while the Brembo Prime UV Coated OE Front Brake Rotor adds Brembo's UV-coated finish for additional corrosion protection. Rotor replacement is not required when the existing rotors remain within service specifications; these are optional supporting components for a broader front brake service.
