Overview

The CUSCO Formula Link Adjustable Rear Panhard Rod is a performance-focused rear suspension upgrade for the Toyota AE86. Also known as a rear lateral rod, it controls the side-to-side position of the solid rear axle and provides adjustment for correcting axle position after changes to suspension ride height.

Lowering an AE86 changes the operating angle of the factory Panhard rod, which can move the rear axle away from its centered position. The Formula Link provides a +10 mm to -10 mm adjustment range, allowing the axle to be repositioned laterally for the vehicle's suspension setup.

Formula Link Pillowball Design

The Formula Link design replaces conventional rubber mounting points with metal pillowball rod ends on both sides of the Panhard rod. The rigid joint arrangement reduces deflection under suspension load and provides a more immediate mechanical connection between the rear axle and chassis.
