The Big 7 22RE Battery Cable Upgrade Kit replaces the primary power, charging, starting, and grounding cables on Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models equipped with the 2.4L 22RE engine.
Aging factory battery cables can develop internal corrosion, deteriorated insulation, and increased electrical resistance that contribute to voltage drop, slow cranking, inconsistent charging, and unreliable electrical performance. This vehicle-specific kit replaces those critical circuits with high-capacity pure copper cables for a stronger electrical foundation.
Choose between 2 AWG for stock and mildly modified vehicles or 1/0 AWG for higher-demand electrical systems and future accessory upgrades.

Big 7 Electrical Upgrade
Unlike a traditional Big 3 upgrade, the Big 7 kit replaces additional primary electrical connections throughout the starting and charging system.
The kit upgrades:
- Alternator to battery positive
- Battery negative to chassis ground
- Engine block to chassis ground
- Starter power cable
- Fuse box power feed
- Relay box power feed
- Additional fused power connection
Replacing these aging circuits helps reduce electrical resistance and voltage loss while improving current delivery throughout the vehicle.
