Overview

The ARP 4A-GE / 4A-GZE Flywheel Bolt Kit is a high-strength flywheel fastener upgrade for Toyota 4AG manual-transmission applications, including the AE86 Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno and MK1 AW11 MR2.

Flywheel bolts are subjected to repeated heat cycles, high engine speeds, and drivetrain shock during clutch engagement. The forged, heat-treated chrome-moly construction provides a durable replacement for factory hardware during clutch service, flywheel replacement, engine rebuilding, and performance upgrades.

The kit includes eight precision-manufactured bolts with M10 x 1.25 threads, a low-profile 12-point head, and a larger-than-stock shank design for increased strength and improved flywheel registration.

Flywheel Fastener Design

The crankshaft-to-flywheel connection is subjected to significant rotational load and repeated drivetrain shock. These flywheel bolts use a larger-than-stock shank diameter to increase strength while helping improve flywheel centering and registration.

Each bolt features an M10 x 1.25 thread, 1.050-inch underhead length, and compact 12-point head. The complete kit contains eight matching fasteners for the Toyota 4AG flywheel bolt configuration.
