Overview

The ARB Old Man Emu Complete 2-Inch Suspension Lift Kit is a matched suspension system for 1986–1989 Toyota 4Runner 4WD and 1986–1988 Toyota Pickup 4WD models equipped with Independent Front Suspension (IFS).

Designed as a complete system rather than a collection of unrelated components, this kit combines Old Man Emu shocks, rear leaf springs, front torsion bars, bushings, shackles, U-bolts, and steering components to provide approximately 2 inches of suspension lift while improving suspension control, load support, articulation, and overall ride characteristics.

Medium Load and Heavy Load rear configurations are available, allowing the suspension to be matched to stock-weight vehicles or builds carrying permanent additional equipment.

Nitrocharger Plus Shocks

The included Old Man Emu Nitrocharger Plus shocks use vehicle-specific damping, twin-tube construction, and nitrogen gas charging to provide controlled suspension movement across pavement, rough roads, and off-road terrain.

The front shocks are tuned for the Toyota IFS platform, while the rear shocks are matched to the selected rear spring load rating.

The included Old Man Emu Dakar rear leaf springs provide approximately 2 inches of rear lift while improving rear suspension support and reducing sag under load.
