AISIN Clutch Master Cylinder
For 1984–1995 Toyota Pickup manual-transmission applications
Overview
AISIN clutch master cylinders are manufactured to original-equipment hydraulic standards for factory-style fit, function, and durability in Toyota Pickup clutch systems. Four application-specific configurations separate the early and late 2.4L and 3.0L clutch-hydraulic designs used across the 1984–1995 Pickup range.
The 1989 generation change is the key dividing point. The 1984–1988 2nd Gen Pickup uses the early configurations, while the 1989–1995 3rd Gen Pickup uses separate later 2.4L and 3.0L configurations.
Key Features
- OE-standard hydraulic construction — manufactured for factory-style fit and clutch-hydraulic operation
- 5/8-inch bore — 15.875 mm hydraulic bore
- Precision-honed cylinder bore — supports smooth piston travel and consistent clutch actuation
- Corrosion-resistant cylinder treatment — helps protect the bore and cylinder body during long-term service
- High-heat EPDM seals — designed for durable hydraulic sealing and leak resistance
- Generation- and engine-specific configurations — separates the four verified Pickup clutch-master-cylinder applications below
Vehicle Fitment
All applications require a factory-style manual clutch hydraulic system.

Fitment Notes
- Match the selected configuration to both the Pickup generation and engine family.
- 1984–1988 2.4L applications use the early 4-cylinder configuration. Turbo 22R-TE manual coverage applies only where listed.
- The 1988 3.0L V6 uses its own early V6 configuration.
- 1989–1995 2.4L and 3.0L Pickups use different later configurations. Select by engine family.
- For engine- or transmission-swapped vehicles, match the master cylinder to the installed clutch-hydraulic configuration rather than chassis year alone.
- After installation, bleed the clutch hydraulic system completely and inspect the AISIN Clutch Slave Cylinder, hose, and hard line for leakage or deterioration.
