Overview

Restore factory-style clutch operation with an AISIN stock replacement kit selected for the original clutch and flywheel configuration. AISIN supplies original-equipment clutch components to Toyota; these replacement kits are intended for conventional road use rather than higher-torque competition applications.

The earlier U.S.-market GT-S uses a 200 mm clutch system, while later U.S.-market GT-S and verified Japanese-market naturally aspirated coupe applications use a 212 mm system. Choose by production date and original clutch size rather than model year alone.

Fitment Notes

• Important: The U.S. production change occurs around August 1989. For a vehicle built during the transition, verify its original clutch diameter and matched flywheel before choosing an option.
• The early 200 mm kit's Japanese-market coupe coverage is not confirmed here; do not choose that option for a Japanese-market car based only on shared AE92 chassis identity.
• Not for 4A-F / 4A-FE SR5 applications, supercharged 4A-GZE applications, or automatic transmissions.
• Engine or transmission swaps require application-specific clutch and release-system matching. The flywheel and mounting bolts are not included. The ARP 4A-GE Flywheel Bolt Kit is an optional fastener upgrade, not a required purchase with every clutch replacement.
