Whiteline 24mm 4-Point Adjustable Front Sway Bar Kit

For 1983–1987 Toyota Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno AE86 & 1984–1987 Corolla Sport SR5 / 1985–1987 GT-S

Overview

The Whiteline 24mm adjustable front sway bar kit is a performance suspension upgrade for the Toyota AE86 platform, designed to reduce body roll and provide more responsive, controlled handling during cornering.

Its heavy-duty blade-adjustable design provides four adjustment positions, allowing front roll stiffness to be tuned to suit different suspension setups, tires, road conditions, and driving preferences. Unlike a replacement bar alone, this complete kit includes vehicle-specific links, mounting bushings, brackets, hardware, and bushing grease.

Key Features

  • 24 mm performance front sway bar
  • Four adjustment positions for front roll-stiffness tuning
  • Heavy-duty blade-adjustable design
  • Solid spring-steel construction
  • Helps reduce body roll during cornering
  • Allows front-end response and handling balance to be fine-tuned
  • Vehicle-specific design for Toyota AE86 applications
  • Includes replacement links, sway bar bushings, brackets, and installation hardware
  • Powder-coated finish helps protect the steel bar from corrosion

4-Point Sway Bar Adjustment

The four end-link mounting positions change the effective lever arm of the sway bar, allowing its roll stiffness to be adjusted without replacing the bar.

Whiteline identifies the rearward position as the softest setting and the forward position as the hardest setting, with two intermediate positions providing progressively firmer response between the two extremes.

Both sides of the sway bar should always be set to the same adjustment position.

Sway Bar Adjustment

The adjustable mounting positions change the bar's effective lever arm and therefore its torsional stiffness.

  • Soft: Approximately 23mm effective rate; better suited to comfort-oriented or lower-grip driving
  • Medium-Soft: Approximately 24mm effective rate; balanced setting for general street use
  • Medium-Hard: Approximately 25mm effective rate; increased roll control and sharper handling response
  • Hard: Approximately 26mm effective rate; maximum front roll control and firmest response

Adjust both sides to the same adjustment position when setting the sway bar.

Whiteline 24mm Adjustable vs. CUSCO 23mm Front Sway Bar

Both bars are performance front sway bar upgrades for the Toyota AE86, but they take different approaches to suspension tuning.

Choose Whiteline if you want adjustable front roll stiffness. Its four mounting positions allow the sway bar response to be tuned as your suspension setup, tires, or driving requirements change.

Choose CUSCO if you prefer a straightforward fixed-rate setup. The CUSCO front sway bar uses a 23 mm solid-steel, non-adjustable design, making it a simple option for drivers who do not need multiple stiffness settings.

  • Whiteline 24mm Adjustable: Best suited to drivers who want suspension tuning flexibility.
  • CUSCO 23mm Fixed: Best suited to drivers who prefer a consistent, non-adjustable setup.

In short: choose Whiteline for adjustable suspension tuning and maximum flexibility; choose CUSCO for a simple, predictable fixed-rate 23mm upgrade.

If you prefer the non-adjustable Cusco 23mm front sway bar,** see this listing instead.**
