Overview

The Koyo Hyper V-Core 36mm Aluminum Performance Radiator is a swap-specific cooling solution for Toyota AE86 chassis equipped with a 2.0L 3S-GE BEAMS engine swap and manual transmission. Fitment is based on the AE86 chassis and BEAMS cooling-system layout, so the vehicle’s original SR5 or GT-S engine configuration does not exclude the radiator once the car has been converted to the required BEAMS setup.

The radiator uses a slim 36mm high-density two-row core to provide increased cooling capacity while conserving engine-bay space. Revised inlet and outlet locations simplify BEAMS coolant-hose routing compared with using a standard 4A-C or 4A-GE AE86 radiator.

For Factory 4A-GE AE86 Cooling Systems

This radiator is specifically configured for a 3S-GE BEAMS swap and should not be selected for a stock 4A-GE cooling layout. For an AE86 that still uses the 4A-GE, the AE86 Koyo HH Series 48mm Aluminum Radiator is the appropriate Koyo alternative. The two radiators use different engine-specific cooling configurations and are alternatives, not companion parts.
