Overview

The Trail-Gear RF1A Transfer Case Rebuild Kit provides the gaskets, seals, and bearings needed to service Toyota gear-driven transfer cases. Choose the Minor or Major configuration based on the depth of the rebuild and the condition of the internal bearings.

Both configurations use Toyota OEM gaskets. The supplied bearings use SKF, NSK, NACHI, or KOYO components, while the idler-gear front roller bearing included with the Major kit is supplied as NACHI or Trail-Gear.

Minor vs. Major Rebuild Kit

Minor Rebuild Kit — Includes the major gaskets, seals, and most bearings used during a standard RF1A transfer-case rebuild.
