Overview
The Trail-Gear Rock Defense Rear Bumper is a heavy-duty tubular rear bumper designed specifically for the 1984–1989 Toyota 4Runner.
Constructed from 1.75-inch OD x .120-inch-wall 1020 DOM steel tubing, the bumper provides increased rear protection for trail-driven and off-road 1st Gen 4Runners. The DOM construction provides greater dent resistance than conventional HREW tubing.
The bumper is supplied unpainted and lightly oiled, allowing it to be painted, powder coated, or otherwise finished after surface preparation.

Material & Construction
The bumper uses DOM steel tubing for improved dent resistance and strength compared with conventional HREW tubing.
The protective shipping oil should be removed before painting or powder coating. Installation uses the vehicle's rear frame mounting locations.
