Overview
The SEIBON DV-Style Carbon Fiber Hood is a vented front hood designed for North American Toyota Corolla Sport AE86 models with pop-up headlights. It replaces the factory steel hood while retaining the original front-body mounting points across both coupe and hatchback body styles.
The DV-style vent configuration promotes engine-bay heat extraction while giving the AE86 a more aggressive, performance-focused appearance. The exterior uses 3K 2x2 twill-weave carbon fiber with a gloss finish, providing a finished carbon-fiber surface that does not require painting.
A fiberglass reinforcement skeleton is bonded to the underside for structural support and finished in matte black enamel. The hood reuses the vehicle's original mounting hardware. Hood pins and a heat shield are required, and professional installation is recommended for proper alignment and fitment.
