Overview

The Prothane rear strut rod bushing kit renews the bushings at both ends of the original rear strut rods on 1984–1989 JDM and 1985–1989 U.S.-Market Toyota MR2 AW11 cars. One kit services both rear rods, including their chassis eyes and rod-to-control-arm connections.

This is a dedicated polyurethane rod-bushing set, not the separate control-arm inner-pivot kit. Both colors cover the same service positions and have the same included components.

• Rear strut rods only. Front strut rods, control-arm inner pivots and rear No. 2 toe-link joints are separate service positions.
• The same kit covers the original rear-rod arrangements across the listed years, including naturally aspirated and factory supercharged cars; no early/late option is required.
• Original correct rear rods, arms, washers and nuts are required. Aftermarket spherical rods, changed eye bores and mounting conversions are outside this application.
