Overview

The Prothane Polyurethane Front Control Arm Bushing Kit replaces worn factory rubber bushings in the front upper and lower control arms of 1979–1995 Toyota Pickup 2WD models. The firmer polyurethane construction helps reduce unwanted control-arm movement and maintain more consistent suspension geometry, steering response, and alignment.

Toyota used three different front control-arm bushing configurations across this production range, so the correct kit must be selected by model year: 1979–1983, 1984–1988, or 1989–1995.
