Overview

The Project Mu SCR Pure Plus 6 Front Brake Rotor Set is a performance-oriented replacement for the factory front rotors on Toyota AE86 applications. Designed primarily for spirited street driving, the SCR Pure Plus 6 combines factory-size fitment with a six-slot rotor design that improves pad-surface cleaning and initial braking response.

Each rotor uses one-piece FC cast-iron construction with a vented design and six curved slots on each braking surface. The front AE86 application measures 234 mm in diameter and 18 mm thick, retaining the original brake dimensions while providing a more performance-focused rotor surface.

The rotors are heat treated and finished with Project Mu's distinctive green heat-resistant coating for corrosion protection and recognizable appearance.

SCR Pure Plus 6 Rotor Design

The SCR Pure Plus 6 is designed as a street-performance upgrade over a conventional smooth replacement rotor. Its rounded six-slot pattern continually sweeps the brake-pad surface, helping remove brake dust and maintain consistent contact between the pad and rotor.

Compared with a straight-slot design, the curved slots provide greater cleaning action while sharpening initial brake response.
