Rated at SAE 80W-250, the V2 formulation combines a PAO and Polyol Ester synthetic base with an extreme-pressure additive package designed for high-load differential operation. Choose between a single 1-liter can or a 2-liter package for a complete Toyota AE86 T-Series differential service. The AE86 rear differential requires approximately 1.3 liters, making the 2-liter option the correct quantity for a complete drain and refill.

The V2 formulation supersedes the original OS-250R gear oil and can be mixed with residual original OS-250R fluid remaining inside the differential.

Original OS-250R vs. OS-250R V2

OS-250R V2 replaces the original OS-250R formula while retaining the friction characteristics required for OS Giken mechanical LSD operation. The updated formulation improves fluid flow and penetration through the clutch pack while maintaining high-load protection and smooth, progressive differential locking.

The V2 formula is compatible with remaining original OS-250R fluid, so small amounts of the previous formulation do not need to be completely purged before switching to V2.
