NTK Downstream Oxygen Sensor
For 1989–1991 Toyota Corolla AE92 coupe equipped with the 4A-GE and California emissions.
Overview
This NTK oxygen sensor replaces the No. 2 downstream sensor on 1989–1991 U.S.-market Toyota Corolla AE92 GT-S coupes with the 4A-GE and California emissions. It is intended for the original sensor position after the catalytic converter, not the upstream sensor at the engine.
The attached harness and connector provide a replacement for the specified original application without converting to a universal splice-in sensor. Confirm the vehicle's emissions specification and sensor position before ordering; Federal-emissions and SR5 applications use different sensors.
Key Features
- Connector-equipped harness connects to the original downstream sensor wiring.
- Unheated zirconia sensing element matching the specified two-lead sensor configuration.
Vehicle Fitment
Toyota Corolla — AE92
- 1989–1991: GT-S coupe (U.S.-Market) / 4A-GE / California emissions / No. 2 downstream oxygen sensor.
Fitment Notes
- Fits the California-emissions No. 2 sensor position after the catalytic converter. It is not a replacement for the upstream sensor.
- Not for Federal-emissions GT-S or SR5 applications. Do not select this sensor by engine size or wire count alone.
- Fitment is limited to the original exhaust and wiring configuration; engine swaps, altered emissions systems and universal sensor conversions require separate evaluation.
