Overview
The NRG Short Hub Steering Wheel Adapter provides the vehicle-specific steering-column interface needed when installing a compatible aftermarket steering wheel and quick-release system on the Toyota AE86.
Designed for USDM Corolla Sport GT-S and SR5 models as well as JDM Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno AE86 applications, the compact short-hub design helps minimize the additional steering-wheel offset created when a quick-release assembly is installed.
The hub is manufactured from anodized 6061 aluminum and uses the common 6 x 70 mm aftermarket steering-wheel bolt pattern. AE86 installations may require minor adjustment or modification of the factory turn-signal cancel mechanism, so customers should review the installation requirements before purchasing.

Installation Requirements
This short hub serves as the vehicle-specific adapter between the factory AE86 steering column and a compatible aftermarket steering wheel or quick-release system.
Minor modification or adjustment may be required during installation. On AE86 applications, the factory turn-signal cancel ring or cancel mechanism may require modification or repositioning because the mounting-hole spacing may not perfectly align with the hub.
This installation consideration should be taken into account for both USDM GT-S / SR5 and JDM Levin / Trueno AE86 applications.
Installation requirements can also vary depending on the vehicle's existing steering components, previous modifications, steering wheel, and quick-release configuration.
Professional installation is recommended if the installer is not experienced with aftermarket steering-wheel systems.
