For 1983–1987 Toyota Corolla AE86 Trueno / Levin, 1985–1987 U.S.-Market Corolla Sport AE86 (GT-S), 1984–1987 U.S.-Market Corolla Sport AE86 (SR5), plus 1988–1992 U.S.-Market Corolla AE92 with the original non-airbag steering column; AE92 coupe through 1991.

Overview

The NRG Short Hub Steering Wheel Adapter connects a compatible aftermarket steering wheel or quick-release system to 1983–1987 Toyota Corolla AE86 and 1988–1992 U.S.-Market Corolla AE92 steering columns, with AE92 coupes ending in 1991. Its compact design reduces the additional steering-wheel offset created by a quick-release assembly.

Anodized 6061 aluminum construction and a 6 × 70 mm bolt pattern suit compatible wheel systems. AE92 coverage requires the original non-airbag column; the steering wheel and quick-release assembly are separate components.

Fitment Notes

• Requires a compatible 6 × 70 mm aftermarket steering wheel or quick-release system. These components are not included.
• Not compatible with NRG THIN Quick Release systems.
• AE86 turn-signal cancel-ring mounting may require adjustment or modification; this is not a guaranteed modification-free hub. Horn and automatic cancellation depend on the correct contact and cancel-mechanism arrangement.
• AE92 fitment is limited to the U.S.-Market original non-airbag column. JDM AE92 Levin and Trueno, including GT-Z, are not included.
• Airbag-equipped or swapped steering columns are outside this fitment.
• Intended for off-road / competition use.
