Overview
This NGK Spark Plug Set provides two ignition options for 1984–1987 Toyota Corolla Sport SR5 AE86 models equipped with the carbureted 1.6L 4A-C SOHC engine.

Iridium IX vs. V-Power Nickel
Iridium IX
Uses a fine-wire iridium center electrode designed to provide strong ignitability while offering substantially greater electrode wear resistance than a conventional nickel plug. It is the premium option for owners who want longer-lasting electrode technology and consistent spark performance.
V-Power Nickel
Uses a nickel-alloy center electrode with NGK's V-groove design. It is the straightforward OE-style choice for routine maintenance, restoration work, and stock or lightly modified 4A-C engines.
Both configurations retain the same basic heat range, thread dimensions, reach, resistor construction, and specified spark-plug gap for the 4A-C application.
