For 1987–1991 Toyota Corolla AE92 coupes equipped with separate-bearing rear hubs.

Overview

This Koyo rear wheel bearing replaces the individual bearing in the separate-bearing rear hub used on 1987–1991 Corolla AE92 coupes. It is a bearing-only replacement, not a complete hub assembly.

The rear hub design changed during January 1991. The original separate-bearing hub is required; later integrated-bearing hub assemblies do not accept this bearing. Koyo bearings are now branded JTEKT.

• 1987–1991: Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno coupes (JDM) / production 1987–January 1991, separate-bearing rear hub only.
• 1988–1991: SR5 and GT-S coupes (U.S.-Market) / production 1987–January 1991, separate-bearing rear hub only.

Important: January 1991 is a transition month, not an inclusive whole-month fitment guarantee. Check whether the rear hub has a separately replaceable bearing or an integrated hub-bearing assembly. This bearing fits only the separate-bearing design, including on vehicles with replacement hubs.

Fitment Notes

• Rear only for these AE92 coupe applications; not for the later integrated-bearing rear hub.
• Each serviced rear corner requires one new hub oil seal and one new hub-seat O-ring. These are not included and must be sourced and purchased separately by the customer. Use the oil seal matched to the car's rear hub and brake configuration; the U.S. SR5 and GT-S use different oil seals.
