Overview
The GReddy Standard 13-Row Oil Cooler Kit is a vehicle-specific engine oil cooling system designed for 1983–1987 Toyota Corolla AE86 models equipped with the 4A-GE engine. The kit uses a 13-row aluminum oil cooler core mounted in front of the radiator and a thermostatic GREX sandwich plate installed at the factory oil filter location. The integrated thermostat regulates oil flow through the external cooler according to engine oil temperature.
Steel-braided oil lines, fittings, gaskets, mounting brackets, and installation hardware are included for the vehicle-specific installation.

13-Row Thermostatic Oil Cooler System
The 13-row aluminum cooler provides additional heat-transfer capacity by routing engine oil through an external heat exchanger. The thermostatic sandwich plate controls oil circulation through the cooler while maintaining the factory oil filter location.
The included steel-braided oil lines connect the sandwich plate to the front-mounted cooler core, while the supplied fittings, brackets, gaskets, and hardware provide the components required for the specified AE86 installation.

Standard 13-Row vs. Filter Relocation 13-Row
Both AE86 oil cooler configurations use a 13-row thermostatically controlled oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator. The primary difference is the location of the engine oil filter.
Choose the Standard 13-Row Oil Cooler Kit if:
- You have sufficient clearance around the factory oil-filter location.
- You want to retain the oil filter in its original position.
- You prefer the standard installation configuration.
- Your exhaust manifold provides the required clearance.
Choose the Filter Relocation 13-Row Oil Cooler Kit if:
- Clearance around the factory oil-filter location is limited.
- Other components interfere with the original filter position.
- You want the oil filter relocated beside the left strut area.
- Easier access to the oil filter is important for routine maintenance.
The filter-relocation configuration is the better choice when clearance at the original oil-filter location is the primary concern.
