Overview

This Four Seasons replacement evaporator is the cabin-side heat exchanger for the MR2’s air-conditioning system. Its aluminum serpentine core absorbs heat from cabin airflow as refrigerant passes through it.

The core has attached inlet and outlet tubing for the original cooler assembly. Both purchase options use the same core; the seal-kit option adds the two small liquid-line O-rings needed alongside the core’s supplied seals.

Fitment Notes

  • Fits manual and automatic transmissions.
  • For the original MR2 A/C housing and line connections. Aftermarket universal A/C housings and altered refrigerant connections require separate fitment assessment.
  • Evaporator Core requires two additional small liquid-line O-rings, not included in that option. Evaporator Core + Liquid-Line Seals includes both.
