Overview
The EXEDY OE Replacement Clutch Kit provides factory-style clutch replacement options for 1989–1995 3rd Gen Toyota Pickup manual-transmission models equipped with the 2.4L 22R / 22RE or 3.0L 3VZ-E V6.
The major clutch change occurs within the four-cylinder applications. 1989–1992 22R / 22RE trucks use a 225 mm clutch in both 2WD and 4WD, while the 1993–1995 22RE application separates by drivetrain. 2WD trucks retain the 225 mm clutch, while 4WD trucks use a larger 236 mm clutch.
The 3.0L 3VZ-E V6 uses its own 236 mm V6 clutch configuration throughout the 1989–1995 generation.

Choosing the Correct Clutch
For 1989–1992 2.4L 22R / 22RE trucks, the same 225 mm clutch configuration is used for both 2WD and 4WD applications.
Beginning in 1993, drivetrain becomes an essential selection point. 1993–1995 22RE 2WD trucks use the 225 mm configuration, while 1993–1995 22RE 4WD trucks use the 236 mm configuration.
The 3.0L 3VZ-E V6 uses a separate 236 mm clutch configuration and should be selected by engine rather than four-cylinder drivetrain fitment.
