Solid Rear Brake Rotor

For 1985–1989 U.S.-Market Toyota MR2 AW11

Overview

The DFC Premium rear brake rotor is available in two factory-size applications for the AW11 MR2. The 1985–1986 version uses a 240 mm disc, while the 1987–1989 version uses a 263 mm disc.

Both versions use one-piece solid iron construction and a plain friction surface for a stock-style rear-brake refresh.

Key Features

  • G3000/G11H18 iron casting
  • CNC-machined friction and mounting surfaces
  • Non-directional friction-surface finish
  • One-piece solid disc construction
  • Either rear side uses the same application-specific rotor

Vehicle Fitment

Toyota MR2 — AW11 / MK1 — U.S.-Market

  • 1985–1986: 4A-GE naturally aspirated; automatic / manual; 240 mm rear rotor
  • 1987–1989: 4A-GE naturally aspirated; automatic / manual; 263 mm rear rotor
  • 1988–1989: 4A-GZE supercharged; automatic / manual; 263 mm rear rotor

Fitment Notes

  • Choose the option matching the vehicle’s model year. Factory 1985–1986 and 1987–1989 rear brake systems use different rotor diameters.
  • Rear axle only. Both applications use the same rotor on the left and right rear.
  • Brake conversions may use different calipers, hubs, or rotor dimensions; match the rotor to the installed brake configuration.
