Precision Arc-Ground Construction
Each DFC brake shoe is precision arc-ground to closely match the inside curvature of the brake drum. Proper shoe-to-drum contact helps promote consistent braking force, predictable pedal response, and even friction-material wear after installation and bedding.
The friction lining is attached to a new carbon-steel shoe using bonded or riveted construction based on the applicable original brake design.
