Overview
The CUSCO Type CB Rear Strut Tower Brace is a lightweight rear chassis reinforcement upgrade for the Toyota AE86. Its 40 mm round carbon-fiber shaft connects the rear mounting areas to help reduce chassis flex under cornering and other high-load driving conditions.
The Type CB uses a layered carbon-fiber shaft rather than the aluminum construction found on conventional CUSCO rear braces. Titanium-gray mounting components complement the exposed carbon finish while maintaining a vehicle-specific mounting design.
Installation requires permanent modification to the vehicle. Fender-house mounting holes must be drilled, and the rear interior trim must be modified for clearance.

40mm Carbon Shaft Design
The Type CB uses a 40 mm layered carbon-fiber round shaft designed to combine low weight with high rigidity. Unlike aluminum-shaft CUSCO braces, the carbon construction provides a distinctive exposed-carbon appearance while reinforcing the rear chassis between its mounting points.
