Overview
The CUSCO Safety21 6-Point Roll Cage is a vehicle-specific steel chassis reinforcement and occupant-protection system designed for Toyota AE86 coupe and 3-door hatchback applications. This configuration uses a six-point layout with front and rear mounting positions, curved rear side bars, and an around-dashboard design.
Two steering-orientation configurations are available, allowing the correct front-bar routing to be selected for left-hand-drive US-market cars or right-hand-drive Japanese-market cars.
The Safety21 construction uses heavy-duty steel tubing finished in gloss black. This particular configuration is designed for non-sunroof AE86 models and uses the rear-bar layout intended to preserve more rear-seat area than the straight rear-bar two-passenger configurations.

Material & Construction
The Safety21 cage is manufactured from STKM13C-SC steel tubing measuring 40 mm in outside diameter with a 2.0 mm wall thickness. The cage is finished in gloss black for corrosion resistance and a traditional motorsport appearance.
Its six-point layout extends from the main hoop toward both the front and rear of the passenger compartment. The around-dashboard design routes the forward cage structure around the dashboard rather than requiring a through-dashboard competition-style installation.
Curved rear side bars distinguish this version from CUSCO's straight rear-bar two-passenger configurations and provide a layout intended to retain more usable rear passenger space.
