Overview
The CUSCO Hyper Rubber Engine Mount Set is a performance-focused replacement for the factory engine mounts on 4A-G-powered Toyota AE86 models. The set uses firmer Hyper Rubber bushings to better control engine movement during acceleration, deceleration, shifting, and spirited driving.
The Hyper Rubber bushings are pre-installed in the mounting brackets, creating a vehicle-specific bolt-on assembly designed to replace the original engine mounts. Reducing excessive engine roll and pitching helps provide a more direct connection between the engine and chassis, contributing to sharper throttle and drivetrain response.
This set is designed specifically for AE86 models equipped with the 4A-G / 4A-GE engine. It is not intended as an engine-mount application for SR5 models equipped with the 4A-C engine.

Hyper Rubber Engine Mount Design
CUSCO Hyper Rubber uses a firmer rubber compound than conventional factory-style mounting rubber. The increased rigidity helps keep the engine more securely positioned as drivetrain loads change, reducing unwanted movement without converting the vehicle to a fully solid-mounted engine setup.
The bracketed design comes assembled with the Hyper Rubber bushings already installed, allowing the mounts to replace the corresponding factory engine mounts as complete assemblies.
