Overview
The CUSCO Type ALC-OS front strut tower bar is a chassis reinforcement brace designed to connect the left and right front strut towers of the Toyota AE86. Tying the upper suspension mounting points together helps reduce chassis flex during cornering and suspension loading, improving front-end rigidity.
The Type ALC-OS design uses a lightweight oval aluminum center shaft with a carbon-fiber outer wrap. This provides the appearance and layered construction of carbon fiber while retaining an aluminum structural core. The AE86 application uses a Type B oval cross-section paired with titanium-gray steel mounting plates.
Installation is bolt-on at the front upper strut towers, providing vehicle-specific chassis reinforcement without requiring permanent chassis modification.

Aluminum & Carbon Fiber Construction
The ALC-OS center bar combines an aluminum structural shaft with a carbon-fiber outer layer. This is not a 100% or solid carbon-fiber strut bar; the aluminum shaft remains the structural core of the brace.
The oval shaft profile is designed to balance rigidity, weight, and clearance while the carbon-fiber exterior and titanium-gray mounting plates provide a distinct appearance compared with CUSCO's standard aluminum strut bars.
