Overview

The Bilstein B6 4600 Rear Shock is a direct-fit monotube shock absorber for stock-height Toyota Pickup 4WD applications. Its high-pressure gas design and velocity-sensitive digressive valving provide consistent damping control for daily driving, towing, hauling, gravel roads, and light off-road use.

Two different rear shock applications are used across the 1979–1995 Pickup range. The 1979–1983 application uses the longer early shock with 16 mm upper and lower eye mounts, while the 1984–1995 application uses a shorter shock with 19 mm upper and lower eye mounts. The two applications are not interchangeable.
