Overview

This Bando Rib Ace belt replaces the power-steering accessory belt on U.S.-market 1985–1987 Toyota Corolla AE86 GT-S and 1988–1991 Corolla AE92 GT-S coupes with the 4A-GE engine. It serves the original power-steering drive arrangement without A/C, retaining the factory pulleys, brackets and idler.

The five-rib belt supplies one replacement service part rather than a complete accessory-belt set. Its 920 mm effective length is specific to the supported power-steering configuration; it is not a substitute for the configuration-specific belt used in a combined A/C and power-steering drive.

Fitment Notes

• For the original no-A/C power-steering drive only. It does not replace the belt used for a combined A/C and power-steering circuit.
• Not for Corolla SR5 models. The AE92 SR5 uses a different three-rib power-steering arrangement. This AE92 application is the GT-S coupe, not a blanket fitment for every Corolla body or engine.
• Original pulleys, brackets and the applicable idler are required and are not included. Removing an A/C compressor alone does not establish this fitment if the remaining pulley or bracket arrangement differs from the factory no-A/C configuration.
• Engine swaps and modified accessory drives require matching the installed equipment rather than chassis year alone.
• This is a power-steering accessory belt, not an engine timing belt, alternator belt or A/C belt.
